Like driftwood carried by the current,
we can find ourselves far from shore.
Loss, change, or the quiet exhaustion of holding it all together can leave us feeling disconnected from who we are.
Driftwood Therapy is a place to pause and gather yourself again. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s been weighing on you and find ways to move forward that feel grounded and authentic.
Whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating grief, or learning to quiet anxiety, therapy can be a space to remember that you’re not broken. You’re human. With time and care, even rough waters can smooth into something steady, clear, and whole.

About
Hi, I'm Mariah Delepierre, CSWA
I’m a clinical social work associate (CSWA) offering therapy under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) through Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and the sense of being untethered that often follows life’s hardest moments. My style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and focused on helping you reconnect with what feels steady and true. We’ll look at what’s showing up now, understand the patterns that shape it, and build tools that fit your real life, not someone else’s idea of how you “should” be coping.
My background in social work means I pay attention to the full picture of your life: your history, relationships, and the systems around you. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel seen, respected, and supported in ways that fit who they are.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me outside, exploring creative projects, or spending quiet time with my dog.

My Philosophy

I don’t see people as problems to be solved. I see patterns that once kept them safe and the potential to grow beyond them.
The ways we protect ourselves often made perfect sense at the time: staying busy, shutting down, keeping people at arm’s length. Therapy gives us the space to understand those old strategies without judgment and to gently create new ones that support who you’re becoming.
I draw from trauma-informed, relational, and mindfulness-based approaches. Our work will balance reflection and action, grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a sense of agency. Healing isn’t about erasing what’s happened; it’s about integrating your experiences so you can move through life with more ease and self-trust.
Like driftwood, we are shaped by what we’ve weathered. That shaping can reveal resilience and quiet strength, not damage.
